The Inn of the Sixth Happiness / Trapeze
A double bill of 1950s soundtrack albums composed by Malcolm Arnold. "The Inn of the Sixth Happiness", is based on the true story of Gladys Aylward, a British maid, who paid for her own train ticket to China to became a missionary during the 1930s and the start of the Second Sino-Japanese War, which she managed to guide 100 children over the mountains to safety. Arnold won a Ivor Novello award for this soundtrack. "Trapeze" soundtrack features a mixture of original compositions by Malcolm Arnold and traditional circus music including "Entry of the Gladiators".CD:
